Eligibility

• Laboratory Technician:
  • 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
  • BMLT or DMLT from a recognized institute.
• Senior Laboratory Technician:
  • M.Sc in Medical/Applied/General Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry (with/without DMLT) + 2 years TB lab experience, OR
  • B.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Life Science/Botany/Zoology with DMLT + 3 years experience.

Age Limit as on 01/08/2025

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 37 Years (UR/EWS Male), 40 Years (UR/EWS Female, BC/EBC), 42 Years (SC/ST)
• Age Relaxation: As per Bihar SHSB rules.

• Laboratory Technician: 1061 Posts

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) (based on DMLT syllabus).
• Stage 2: Document Verification.

Pay Scale

• Laboratory Technician: Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated).
• Senior Laboratory Technician: Rs. 24,000/- per month (consolidated).
