Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India.
• Candidates appearing for final exams are not eligible.
• Preferential Qualifications (Tie-Breaker): O-Level Computer Certificate (DOEACC/NIELIT), 2 years in Territorial Army, or NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

Age Limit as on 01/07/2025

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 28 Years (Born between 02/07/1997 and 01/07/2004)
• Age Relaxation: 3 Years for all categories (one-time relaxation).

Selection Process

• Written Exam: 400 marks, 160 questions, 2 hours, no negative marking, min. 35% per section, 50% overall.
• Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Male: 4.8 KM in 28 min; Female: 2.4 KM in 16 min.
• Medical Examination & Character Verification

Pay Scale

• Basic Pay: Rs. 35,400/- (Level-6, Rs. 9300-34800, Grade Pay Rs. 4200)
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance, HRA, and other UP Police benefits.
